How is your weekend going? I hope you get to do some fun things.
We have had rain forecasted all week and we did get a little bit on some days, thankfully.
This morning we thought we would go for a walk. All was well when we left the house, as we got about a half a mile or so away the thunder started, and wind blew the next storm in.
We decided we don’t really want to walk in the lightning, so we looped around and came back home.
It still was nice to get outside, if even for a short time. Now we get to enjoy the rain from the inside.
I guess the weather and building a business have some commonalities. You start with great intentions, looking forward to the next task, and sometimes things beyond your control show up.
This is when we just need to take a break or maybe it’s time for a pivot. Staying flexible, while maintaining the over arching goals is the best way in keep enjoying the journey of creating a business you enjoy and love.
Well, I think I’m going to grab a book and enjoy a rainy day.
