I hope you are able to be celebrating and having fun with family and friends this holiday weekend.
I remember my grandmother teaching me how to crochet when I was little. She had the hardest time getting me to sit still.
I was so busy wanting to go play outside that I just couldn’t settle in to learn how to crochet. “I’ve got things to do Grandma!”
She kept at it and I did finally learn some of the basics, but never learned how to be as good as she was.
Like the quote below when someone can involve you in the learning process by you actually doing the task it sticks with you better.
When we are actively involved we are able to see if our actions are working and be able to ask questions and make adjustment while we have the expert available.
When you have a chance to take a course or any learning opportunity make use of the person teaching you. By asking for help you become better at the task and you help them become a better teacher also.
