Etsy Printable Mockups: Squares + Rectangles
Etsy is changing their listing dimensions. From early August, listing images in Shop Home will display in square format – so in order to make your products look professional, you might need to upgrade your mockups. When rectangular listing photos are cropped to squares, photos may display missing letters and half products.
Etsy now recommends uploading photos that work for multiple crops and ratios – both square and rectangle. Sounds complicated? Don’t worry – I’ve got an easy solution!
Christina Peterson of Passive Income Journey has made a set of rectangle listing photos that are pre-made to look nice when cropped into squares. The sides are filled with enough blank space to ensure that a square crops will look just as nice as the original. That way, you can upload your listing photos and be sure that they look professional and super-nice either way!
In addition, the set includes 35 squares, so that if Etsy (or you!) decides to use ONLY squares at some point, you are prepared and have everything ready without any further purchase or work.
