We had a good time on vacation and now we’ll finish up with a staycation. It’s nice to have some fun and relax.
I’m reading ’10x is easier than 2x’ by Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy. It’s a good read to help with your mindset for growing your business.
This book examines and gives examples of the 80/20 rule and how to go 10x by doing more of your 20% and either getting rid of some of your 80% or getting someone else to do the other 80%.
As solopreneurs we spent so much time doing business maintenance tasks or “busy work” that we don’t have time and energy left over to do the parts we love to help us grow our 20%.
So instead of going 10x, we settle for 2x, which just means we keep working harder not smarter and we get overwhelmed and burned-out.
If we can find our 20% and put our main focus on that part we will be able to see accelerated results in our business growth. Let’s Give It A Try!
